Job description

As L&D Specialist you will drive creating, establishing of a culture of continuous learning & improving within BauWatch. In a proactive and customer-focused way you do what ever it takes to make sure that the organization is engaged and adopts our training initiatives. You will deliver an important contribution to ensuring all employees are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to excel.

High over your key responsibilities are:

· Learning Program Development and Delivery

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and develop engaging training materials tailored to meet diverse employee needs. Create, update, and improve learning content, ensuring it aligns with organizational goals and industry best practices.

  • Leverage multiple learning methodologies.

· Engagement & Adoption

  • Champion learning initiatives by creating and executing strategies to increase participation and engagement.

  • Act as a trusted partner to managers and employees

  • Communicate the value and benefits of L&D programs effectively to inspire enthusiasm and commitment.

· Driving Learning Adoption

  • Act as the primary point of contact for employees and leaders, ensuring their learning needs are met with exceptional service, monitor and analyze training participation and completion rates to drive continuous improvement.

  • Create targeted campaigns and communications to promote learning programs and new resources.

  • Partner with managers to embed training into day-to-day operations and support a culture of learning.

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through metrics, surveys, and performance assessments.

  • Provide regular updates and reports to leadership on training progress, outcomes, and return on investment (ROI).

 

In this role you are part of the Group HR Team based in Apeldoorn. We feel that the role can be filled anywhere between 24 up to 40 hours/week. Incidental traveling to other offices in Europe is part of the job.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Learning & Development, HR, or a similar role.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with subject matter experts to create and deliver training content.

  • Familiarity with L&D technologies, such as LMS platforms and e-learning tools.

  • Analytical mindset with experience measuring training effectiveness and ROI.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all organizational levels.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Experience in promoting and driving the adoption of new training programs.

  • Familiarity with customer service principles and how they apply to learner engagement.

  • Knowledge and Experience of emerging trends in L&D, including AI-powered learning tools and gamification.
