Job description
As Direct Sales Director Italy, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring our sales team to drive growth and market development across the entire country. A relentless drive to achieve and exceed targets, coupled with a positive attitude, is essential. You will work closely with the Managing Director Italy to develop and execute strategic sales plans, build strong customer relationships, and achieve ambitious sales targets.
What are your responsibilities?
Managing and leading sales teams to drive sales targets and inspire high performance in line with set KPIs and targets
Identifying and acquiring new customers, as well as maintaining relationships and retention growth to existing customer bases
Effectively managing and driving the sales cycle from prospection through to successful closure
Growing a sustainable and robust sales pipeline and ensuring reports with accurate forecasting and account planning
Developing & implementing sales strategies and plans to meet revenue goals
Representing the company at events and trade shows
Developing and managing sales budgets and expenses, maximise revenue and profits
Advising the managing director, product management and group management on opportunities and threats in the market, conducting competitor analysis
Job requirements
What do we expect from you?
Sales experience: Bachelor education with 7+ years of relevant work experience, experience in B2B sales and business development
Team Management: proven ability to coach and develop sales teams, lead and motivate sales teams, both in-person and remotely
Experience: Previous experience of work or relationships in the construction, renewables or security industry is a plus
Travel: Willingness to travel around Italy
Technology skills: good knowledge of MS Office programs, preferably experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce
Language skills: native Italian speaker, advanced (conversational) English skills for internal communication
Driver license: full, valid driving license
