Job description
You’ll be part of BauWatch Supply Chain Management, based in Apeldoorn. This department is key to ensuring the availability of BauWatch security systems. Our team of supply chain experts and engineers collaborates closely on system design, and strategic data management. System production and assembly are fully outsourced to trusted external partners.
You’ll report directly to the Manager of Production and Supply Chain Management.
What will you do?
Supply Chain Optimization
Conduct in-depth analyses of supply chain processes using the SQLTC model (Sustainability, Quality, Logistics, Time, and Cost).
Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, availability, sustainability, and cost savings.
Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production, rental fleet management, and demand planning with strategic goals.
Develop and use advanced forecasting tools to optimize inventory levels while maintaining high service standards.
Inventory Management
Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent stock shortages or excess stock.
Establish and enforce inventory policies to improve accuracy and streamline operations.
Data Analysis and Reporting
Create real-time dashboards and visual reports using Power BI for actionable insights.
Utilize SAP for data extraction and analysis to support high-level decision-making.
Job requirements
The world of supply chain management is fast, complex, and ever-changing. To excel in this role, you’ll need to bring:
A completed HBO/WO degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations & Logistics, or a related technical field.
A passion for solving complex challenges and creating impactful solutions.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
The ability to navigate dynamic environments, take ownership of processes, and implement improvements where needed.
A solid understanding of logistics systems (e.g., ERP/SAP), with the ability to identify improvement opportunities.
A growth mindset—you thrive on learning and personal development.
Fluency in Dutch and English (additional languages are a plus).
