Head of Physical Products & IoT

As Head of Physical Products & IoT you'll lead our entire physical product stack: towers, turnstiles, mobile nodes, fleet management systems, and back-end support applications. This means P&L ownership, building product life cycle processes from scratch, and coaching a team of 7+ Product Owners and Product Specialists to think more commercially, help them prioritize, and move faster.

You'll work closely alongside the Head of Digital Products &Customer Experience, who leads customer-facing software solutions. Together you'll ensure our physical and digital products work seamlessly to deliver on our site intelligence vision. This isn't a maintenance role. We're scaling hard and need someone who can handle the chaos, help to build the right structure without slowing us down, and make the team better.

What you’ll do

• Implement & manage the product P&Ls. Revenue targets, margins, pricing strategy, business cases - the full commercial picture.

• Build product lifecycle management processes that actually work at scale. Discovery, development, launch, optimization, end-of-life.

• Coach a team of Product Owners & specialists. Make them better at commercial thinking, prioritization, and shipping. Develop future leaders (currently 8 individuals).

• Set product strategy for hardware, embedded systems, and internal software that keeps our fleet running. Balance innovation with what customers need & sustaining engineering.

• Partner with the Head of Digital Products & Customer Experience to ensure physical and digital products integrate seamlessly and deliver the full customer experience.

• Drive new (physical) product launches across 11 countries. Work with Product Marketing, Sales, Ops, and Engineering to get products to market and make them successful.

• Push the team on modern practices. AI tools, improve & implement processes, creative problem-solving. Question how we do things and make it better.

What we’re looking for

Requirements:

• 8+ years in product, with 5+ years leading teams. Hardware, IoT, or embedded systems experience required.

• You've run Product P&Ls before. You know how to make money, not just ship features.

• High-growth experience. You've been through 30%+ annual growth, you know how to scale despite things breaking all the time

• You're a coach, not a micromanager. You make people better and they want to work with you. You go deep, when needed, to ensure output quality

• You understand hardware reality - supply chains, manufacturing constraints, field deployment. You can talk to engineers and translate it to business value.

• You work well with peer leaders. You'll partner closely with the Head of Digital Products to create cohesive experiences across hardware and software.

• Positive energy. You get excited about hard problems. Teams follow you and go the extra mile because they want to, not because they have to.

• Fluent in English (C1/C2-level), additional languages are a plus. You'll be working across countries and need to communicate clearly.
