As an Accountant, you will play a leading role in further professionalizing the administration and setting up a full-fledged finance and control function for our Italian organization. This role is a unique opportunity to grow together with our Italian organization and to be part of a great and ambitious team.  Therefore, you are a true team player who continuously seeks improvement and development both personally and for the team. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the invoicing and collection process.

• Month-end closing and reporting to the Group.

• Manage compliance with tax regulations (VAT, corporate income tax & payroll tax).

• Initiate process optimization.

• Provide (financial) information to the local management.

• Your workplace will be in Milano, and you will work within the Italian team. You will report to the Group Finance Director who oversees the centrally organized finance organization.

What we expect from you:

• Higher professional education – Bachelor level minimum

• A completed education in a relevant field (Corporate finance or equivalent)

• Knowledge of Italian tax and financial reporting requirements.

• Solid knowledge and experience with SAP is a strong plus

• Experience in a medium-sized and growing organization is a plus

• Experience in chartered accountant office is a strong plus

• Excellent command of Italian, and a good command of English is required.
