About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations. As Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for the production, purchasing, quality assurance, and maintenance of the fleet of mobile camera systems. You will ensure that you effectively deliver sufficient systems of the right quality on time and to optimally manage the fleet. You will also manage the strategic and tactical purchasing process and coordinate the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process within the organization, ensuring that demand and production are accurately aligned. You will stimulate continuous process improvement in a customer-focused work environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that support business goals and improve operational efficiency.

  • Lead demand planning and forecasting to align production and supply with customer requirements.

  • Oversee procurement activities, negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost savings, and reliability.

  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock availability while minimizing holding costs.

  • Coordinate logistics, warehousing, and distribution to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), prepare regular reports, and recommend process improvements.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain, leveraging technology and best practices.

  • Accountable for managing and ensuring compliance with external audits, including Sedex/SMETA assessments

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team.

Job requirements

About You

  • Proven experience: Previous experience (5+ years) in supply chain management, procurement, or logistics, ideally in a leadership role.

  • Knowledgeable: Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, ERP systems, and data analytics.

  • Excellent negotiator:  Excellent negotiation skills, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Problem solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a results-oriented mindset.

  • Effective leadership: Ability to lead by example, communicate, and team management skills.

  • Team player: Promotes mutual communication and relationships. Shares information smoothly with others. Supports others.

  • Customer focus: Listens to the wishes and needs of the customer and adapt working method accordingly. Prioritise service and client satisfaction.

  • Flexibility: Can easily adapt to a changing environment, working methods, working hours, tasks, responsibilities and behaviours of others.

  • Ability to use technology - general ability and previous experience in using MS Office and programmes.

  • CCTV Systems experience preferable but not essential

  • Experience within the Security and/or Construction industry

  • Willingness to learn new things.

Package & Benefits

  • Salary: £40,000-£50,000 per annum (depending on experience)

  • Hours: 37.5 per week

  • Holiday: 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
