Job description

As Direct Sales, you will be a cornerstone in realizing BauWatch’s growth ambitions in Italy. You will actively contribute to the commercial plan by identifying new market opportunities, acquiring customers, and building long-term relationships. This is a hands-on, field-based role combining business development, customer engagement, and collaboration with marketing and key account teams.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Drive sales growth by acquiring new customers and following up on marketing leads

·        Identify, develop, and nurture new and existing customer relationships to build long-term partnerships

·        Conduct regular site visits within the assigned geographical area (cold visits, scheduled meetings, and technical evaluations)

·        Deliver company presentations to potential and existing clients, including at trade fairs and events

·        Contribute to the commercial plan by identifying, leveraging, and nurturing sales opportunities

·        Work with Italian and international colleagues to share best practices and commercial ideas

·        Deliver outstanding customer satisfaction by responding to customer needs, handling complaints, and informing clients about new developments and BauWatch solutions

·        Advise the Managing Director, Product Management, and Group Management on market opportunities, risks, and potential adjustments to commercial strategy based on market insights and data

Job requirements

What we expect from you:

·        3–5 years of relevant sales experience

·        Previous experience or relationships within the construction, renewables, or security industry

·        Strong customer focus with the ability to adapt to client needs

·        Independent and proactive, able to manage your work autonomously

·        Motivated, target-driven, and willing to go the extra mile

·        Friendly team player with a can-do attitude and strong communication skills

·        Flexible and adaptable to changing environments, tasks, and priorities

·        Experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce)

·        Willingness to travel within the assigned region and periodically to Milan HQ
