AI Specialist

You will own the execution of our AI roadmap. That means building, training, guiding teams, and rolling up your sleeves to make things happen yourself.

• Drive AI adoption across all departments and countries — from Operations to Sales

• Build and manage agentic workflows on our self-hosted n8n platform

• Train and coach teams to make AI part of their daily way of working

• Establish and support internal AI champions within each department

• Manage and optimize our generative AI rollout through Box.com

• Evaluate new tools, models, and approaches as we move toward edge AI

• Contribute to AI governance, ensuring solutions are secure, responsible, and scalable

You're a bridge builder

Someone who can translate AI strategy into working systems — and who is just as comfortable convincing a room full of managers as debugging a workflow.

What you bring:

• Proven hands-on experience with n8n, including production-grade workflows with AI integrations

• Strong knowledge of generative AI, including LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI agents in real-world applications

• Experience driving AI adoption within an organization (not just proof-of-concepts)

• The ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences — often within the same week

• Understanding of data security and privacy in a European, multi-country environment

Nice to have:

• Background in computer vision, edge AI, or IoT

• Experience with on-premise or self-hosted AI infrastructure

• Knowledge of the construction or security industry

• A one-year contract with the intention of converting it into a permanent position

Where you'll work

You'll be part of BauWatch Technology, the R&D and software development division of BauWatch. This is where we build the technology behind our security solutions.

The department consists of approximately 50 engineers working across multiple teams, each with its own area of expertise. Much of our work sits at the intersection of IoT, smart building technology, and intelligent automation.

The culture is informal. We build serious software, but there's always room for humor and a good atmosphere.
